Writers in the Spotlight

Writers in the Spotlight is a literary festival presenting an encounter
of writers from the countries of the region and providing
open platforms for that for three days, where current issues on
both literature and overall sociological conditions are touched
upon with the focus on literary production, whereas some performances
of the renowned names in Serbian literature are conceived
as school lessons where high school students have the opportunity
to meet the authors from their mandatory school reading material.

Guests of the literary festival in Subotica are the writers that
bring back the confidence into the beauty of the words, convincing
us that there are values which are not relativised and that there
is a world where meaning and purpose are not defined by others.
The organiser of the Writers in the Spotlight literary festival is the
Focus Foundation.
